NHL 20 PS4 review
EA Sports serves up this years Ice Hockney bonanza, NHL 20.
Secretly, I wish football was more like ice hockey. I’m talking real football here, that’s soccer for the uninitiated. Hockey shares a lot with the beautiful game, but it’s just so much more visceral. Rugby just doesn’t cut it, the game’s too slow, too caught up in its own rules. Continue reading NHL 20 PS4 review
Gemini Man movie review
Awarding-winning director Ang Lee uses the latest in filming making technology to pit a 50-something Will Smith against, well, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, in Gemini Man.
I’m a huge fan of 3D movies. I have even resorted to importing the last few Marvel movies that have not had a local 3D Blu-ray release. Done properly, 3D adds so much to a movie. Many 3D movies also suffer from cross-talk as a result of the polarisation used to generate the effect. Continue reading Gemini Man movie review

NBA 2K20 PS4 review
2K continue to push the envelope to give us yet another slick, gorgeous-looking entry to their long-running basketball franchise.
NBA 2K20’s gameplay is fast. And I found this more than a little daunting it having been a while since I last played an NBA 2K game. Compared to EA’s rival NBA Live series, NBA 2K doesn’t take prisoners. Whereas EA’s basketball games are easy to get into, they lack the depth compared to 2K’s games. The downside is that NBA 2K game’s really make you work for success. Continue reading NBA 2K20 PS4 review

Gears 5 Xbox One/PC review
Does the fifth instalment of the Xbox, and now also Windows PC, exclusive Gears of War franchise offer something new or is it more of the same?
After Microsoft purchased the Gears of War franchise from Epic Games back in 2014, they handed the reins over to their new in-house development studio, The Coalition.
