Since its inception, Activision’s Call of Duty franchise has barely put a foot wrong. It’s had its ups and downs, development dramas (they lost of most of the Infinity Ward team), and narrative challenges. Call of Duty has taken us from the Second World War, though to the modern age and beyond into outer space. As the writers upped the ante, the plots got all the more outlandish. FIFA 20 Xbox One/PC review
The beautiful game, the world’s game. Whilst not so much in New Zealand or, here in Australia. EA’s FIFA franchise remains the top sports video game in both countries. And for good reason.
This year, on top of the usual visual tweaks and improvements, EA Sports have added somewhat of a game-changer to their premier sports title. Continue reading FIFA 20 Xbox One/PC review
Norton Lifelock Norton 360 review
For almost 30 years Norton software has been protecting PC users from viruses and other unwanted elements. Unfortunately, as the decades have rolled on, vulnerabilities across digital devices and the means to exploit them have become all the more sophisticated.

Continue reading Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint PC review

Polish developer CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt still holds its own across console and PC, some four years after it’s initial release.
Incredibly, now owners of the modestly-powered Nintendo Switch can also sample this magnificent game. But how does a game that bought even the mightiest PC to its knees four years ago fair on Nintendo’s little handheld console? Continue reading The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition Switch review
NHL 20 PS4 review
EA Sports serves up this years Ice Hockney bonanza, NHL 20.
Secretly, I wish football was more like ice hockey. I’m talking real football here, that’s soccer for the uninitiated. Hockey shares a lot with the beautiful game, but it’s just so much more visceral. Rugby just doesn’t cut it, the game’s too slow, too caught up in its own rules. Continue reading NHL 20 PS4 review
