Personalise your PC with Ballistix’s Tactical Tracer RGB DDR gaming memory

With the era of dull beige boxes firmly in the past, even the lowliest office PC seems to sport that type of style only reserved for the enthusiast. These days you are going to have to try a little harder to set your gaming rig above the rest.

Your gaming case has a window in the side for a reason. Whilst the likes of Asus with their Aura system will light up your motherboard and Nvidia’s LED visualizer will do the same for your GPU, Ballistix wants to give your PC’s memory the same bling.

The new Ballistix Tactical Tracer RGB modules, available in 8GB and 16GB densities with speeds up to 3000 MT/s, allow gamers to light up their systems with 16 RGB LEDs in 8 zones on each module. Keen PC modders can even customise their system’s look by removing the Ballistix-labeled light bar for maximum brightness, or 3D print their own light bar personalise their memory.

“A lot of the members in our community love to personalise their gaming rigs and the new Tactical Tracer RGB DDR4 modules help achieve just the style they are looking for,” said Jim Jardine, Director of Ballitix DRAM Product Marketing. “Having an RGB module with a removable light bar that enables you to custom-make your own system gives system builders the best options for customisation and personalisation.”

Tactical Tracer RGB modules also work with the Ballistix M.O.D. Utility, a software tool that’s designed exclusively for Ballistix modules. Gamers can use the M.O.D. Utility to monitor memory temperatures in real time, adjust Tactical Tracer RGB LED colour schemes and brightness, turn the lights on and off, and switch up display patterns. The Tactical Tracer RGB LEDs can also be controlled via the 3rd party utilities like Asus’s Aura to tune the memory’s lighting with other components in a rig.

In addition to increasing personalisation, users get all the features of the Ballistix Tactical series including XMP profiles, stylish black PCB, and custom heat spreaders.

Ballistix’s Tactical Tracer RGB DDR gaming memory is available now in DDR4-2600 and DD4-3000 flavours in kits ranging from 8GB to 64GB.
